Educational Grant Application

Educational grants are used to assist member guilds in hiring a National Teacher to present a class or workshop to further the education and love of the art of quilting.

  • The grant is open to all member guilds of QCNYS
  • Guilds are only eligible to apply once every 6 years.
  • The application period is from June – November of even numbered years.
  • A lottery drawing from eligible applications shall be drawn at the December Meeting following the application period.
  • Applications are made online only.
  • Grants are to be spent within the 2-year period following the award.
  • Recipient guilds present a 15-20 minute presentation of the sponsored class at a future QCNYS quarterly meeting.

Application form is only available during the application period.

 

QCNYS Linda Storrings Educational Grant
To assist member guilds with the expenses to host a National Teacher.
- My guild/business is, a current member of QCNYS
- We have not received the Linda Storrings Educational Grant in the past six (6) years
- If awarded, we will do a short presentation or show & tell of the class to be arranged with the QCNYS Board.
