Educational scholarships are used for a online or in person quilting class
or workshop to further the education and love of the art of quilting.

  • Scholarship application is open to all members of QCNYS. (if you are a member of a guild who is a member of QCNYS, you are a member!)
  • Application period for 2027 Scholarships is open from September 1st until NOVEMBER 15.
  • Applications are made online only.
  • Educational scholarships are a $100.00 award.
  • Scholarship recipients will be chosen by lottery at the QCNYS December 2026 Member Meeting
  • Scholarships awarded in 2026 must be used before December 1, 2027.

Application form is only available during the application period.

QCNYS Educational Scholarship
- I am, or my guild/business is, a 2026 member of QCNYS
- I have not received a scholarship from QCNYS within the past four years.
- If awarded, I will do a short presentation or show & tell of the technique to be arranged with the Grants & Scholarship Chairperson.
