The first Travel Club Passports were issued about 16 years ago to encourage quilters to attend the many wonderful quilt shows that are held throughout the State of New York. The Passport booklet is approximately 20-25 pages and includes  quilt business ads, shop hops and great prizes.

Passport Holder Prize Opportunity #1: Stamp your passport and receive a raffle ticket for a chance at each quilt show you attend.  The raffle basket is only available to Travel Club Passport holders! 


Passport Holder Prize Opportunity #2
: Turn in the back page – stamped to be eligible for grand prize drawing for the number of quilt shows you attended.

Travel Club Passports go to the printer – all changes, cancellations, etc. must be received before this date!

 

Info For Passport Holders

  • March 20th – Travel Club Passports go on SALE at selected locations and quilt shows through March, April and May.
  • Guild Representatives may arrange to pick up Travel Club Passports to sell to their guild members, quilt friends and quilt lovers as announced in QCNYS newsletter.

Sell Travel Club Passports  to your guild members, quilt friends and anyone you want to encourage to attend quilt shows, quilt shops and quilting events! Money collected will be sent to the Travel Club Passport “Agent” (her address will be given to you when you pick up your guild’s passports.)

  • December 1st – Mail in deadline for Passport Validation Page
  • December Membership Meeting – Year-end Grand Prize drawing
  • December 2024 Member Meeting – Year-end drawing for Sales/Community Service Prize and Grand Prizes

Quilt Show Info

Register your show by completing the Travel Club Passport Participant Info & Application by the deadlines shown above. Maintain a current QCNYS membership. There is no charge to be included in the QCNYS Travel Club Passport.

BEFORE YOUR SHOW
– Make a raffle prize basket worth at least $50
– Designate a person and area at your show for sale of passports, passport validation and raffle.
– Sell passports!

AT YOUR SHOW
– The prize winner to be drawn at the end of your Quilt Show.
– Stamp passports and give a raffle ticket to the Passport holder
– Draw a raffle basket prize winner at the end of your Quilt Show.
– Sell passports
– Maintain a current QCNYS membership.
