The Consortium needs YOU.... to be our secretary starting in 2027. It can be a fun "job" - you'll have a front row seat and a voice in all of the decisions the board makes. If you can take notes and type them up, you have the skills for the job. According to our bylaws and standing rules,
"The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the Annual, Quarterly Membership and
Special Meetings of the Membership and of the QCNYS Board of Officers. Additionally, the
Secretary shall:
A. Provide a draft of meeting minutes to the President within 14 days of each Meeting.
All minutes require approval by the President prior to publication.
B. Perform all duties pertinent to the Office of Secretary and other duties as may be
assigned by the President.
C. Maintain the QCNYS Google Drive containing minutes of her/his term of office and pass
the password information for this to the incoming Secretary at the Special Orientation
Meeting following election.
D. Maintain a list of the QCNYS Board of Officers names, roles, and contact information
and update it in the appropriate QCNYS Board folder on the Google Drive."![]()
Contact any board member or email me at qcnys.org@gmail.com to talk about the secretary position.
