Business 1 for quilt related storefront business with employees and Business 2 for quilt related business with no employees including quilt instructors, long arm quilters, fabric dyers, etc.

Copper City Stitchers is Rome’s newest quilt store for all quilting fabric and notions, as well as wool for applique, Valdani threads for embroidery, and patterns. We carry Moda yardage and precuts, Northcott (Stonehenge), Toscana, e-Studio, Maywood Studios, Henry Glass, Three Wishes and Island Batik (precuts), to name a few.
Classes are offered and can be registered for through our website, coppercitystitchers.com.

We also offer nonstructured embroidery and wool applique groups several times during the month. Open Sew is available any
day that there are no classes. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Online shopping is coming at a future date. See us on Facebook.

Owners, Jolene Fitch and Amy McNamara opened Finger Lakes Fabrics in January 2023. We are located in Skaneateles New York: just a hop, skip and a jump from Syracuse.

We sell Bernina Sewing Machines and service any sewing machine brand. We offer Long Arm Quilting services and a wide variety of sewing/embroidery classes. I make and sell colorful, hand crafted Groovy Seam Rippers (GSR) with a small ripper blade at one end and a stiletto at the opposite end. Both ends store safely inside the handle when not in use. I have over 200 blanks that I can ‘turn’ into the handle of a GSR for your use when un-sewing. There are many uses besides removing unwanted stitches. Perhaps using a beautiful GSR will make this task more pleasant. GSR are like a piece of jewelry that has a purpose. It’s a perfect gift for yourself or for a friend. Jackie is a 20 year quilt veteran, who is passionate about quilting and teaching others to quilt. She has been a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor for over 10 years. Her quilt “Waves of Joy” is included in Deb Tucker’s book “Royal Treasures” based on the Hunter Star quilt.

Pick Your Stitch is a sewing machine dealer for Husqvarna Viking, Janome and PFAFF. We have a great selection of fabric and few racks with $10 yard bolts in our classroom. We have over 500 spools of embroidery thread and a wide variety stabilizers (Floriani and oesd).
