Copper City Stitchers is Rome’s newest quilt store for all quilting fabric and notions, as well as wool for applique, Valdani threads for embroidery, and patterns. We carry Moda yardage and precuts, Northcott (Stonehenge), Toscana, e-Studio, Maywood Studios, Henry Glass, Three Wishes and Island Batik (precuts), to name a few.
Classes are offered and can be registered for through our website, coppercitystitchers.com.

We also offer nonstructured embroidery and wool applique groups several times during the month. Open Sew is available any

auren Weber is a quilter, fiber artist, and owner of Garden Girl Studio in upstate New York. She offers hand-guided longarm quilting on a Bernina longarm machine and is passionate about helping quilters bring their projects to the finish line.

Lauren specializes in free-motion longarm quilting and custom quilting tailored to each quilt’s personality. She also offers hand-guided pantograph designs with a quick turnaround time for those looking for a beautiful finish on a deadline. Lauren works closely with clients to create stitching that enhances their creative vision.

In addition to longarm services, Lauren teaches workshops designed to inspire creativity with fabric and thread. Lauren offers beginner hand embroidery workshops, and stick and stitch embroidery workshops – sharing tips that make it easy to add hand-stitched details to any project.

I make and sell colorful, hand crafted Groovy Seam Rippers (GSR) with a small ripper blade at one end and a stiletto at the opposite end. Both ends store safely inside the handle when not in use. I have over 200 blanks that I can ‘turn’ into the handle of a GSR for your use when un-sewing. There are many uses besides removing unwanted stitches. Perhaps using a beautiful GSR will make this task more pleasant. GSR are like a piece of jewelry that has a purpose. It’s a perfect gift for yourself or for a friend. We take pride in our extensive selection of precuts and kits for every level of quilter.

Our wool section includes wool fabric from seven different wool dyers. We have a gorgeous selection of Valdani thread for wool appliqué and punch needle. We love wool appliqué and kit up many of the patterns we carry.

Our Needle Work shop is our flagship store and is known worldwide for our extensive selection of linen, thread and reproduction sampler charts.
