We offer two categories of membership
Business 1 for quilt related storefront business with employees and Business 2 for quilt related business with no employees including quilt instructors, long arm quilters, fabric dyers, etc.

Around the Block is a full service quilt shop located on the Main St of the quaint, historic town of Palmyra, NY. You can always find Jenn Habecker, owner, at the shop ready to help. She has been quilting for over 20 years. Connection has been a big part of what she has loved about quilting. She learned how to quilt from her husband’s grandmother, Loretta, who was a master quilter. Loretta believed in quilting by hand, so Jenn often wonders what she would think about the Longarm services offered at her shop. Around the Block is a family affair – you will often find Jenn’s mom, Kathy, at the shop with her running the longarm. Stop by for a visit or call to schedule a private shopping experience with friends. Jenn also loves visiting all of the quilt guilds and is happy to travel (as most quilters are).

Aurora Sewing Center is a family owned and operated business celebrating over 40 years of serving all of WNY. Visit our stores to explore our BERNINA, Baby Lock, Brother, Bernette, Janome, and Juki sewing, embroidery,
serger, multi-needle and longarm quilting machines.

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff provide over 300 project-based classes in-store and online each year to accommodate every age and skill level, from beginner to expert. We also have seasonal Sewing and Embroidery Clubs to provide additional inspiration, tips and ideas. Aurora Sewing Center’s on-site certified Technician Team provides service and repair for all sewing machine makes and models, including industrial machines. We have over 8,000 quality bolts of fabric, embroidery designs, patterns, notions, threads, and more. Aurora Sewing Center offers everything you need to satisfy your
passion.

At all three store locations we service and repair all make and model sewing machines. At our Victor store

Copper City Stitchers is Rome’s newest quilt store for all quilting fabric and notions, as well as wool for applique, Valdani threads for embroidery, and patterns. We carry Moda yardage and precuts, Northcott (Stonehenge), Toscana, e-Studio, Maywood Studios, Henry Glass, Three Wishes and Island Batik (precuts), to name a few.
Classes are offered and can be registered for through our website, coppercitystitchers.com.

We also offer nonstructured embroidery and wool applique groups several times during the month. Open Sew is available any

Owners, Jolene Fitch and Amy McNamara opened Finger Lakes Fabrics in January 2023. We are located in Skaneateles New York: just a hop, skip and a jump from Syracuse.

I make and sell colorful, hand crafted Groovy Seam Rippers (GSR) with a small ripper blade at one end and a stiletto at the opposite end. Both store safely inside the handle when not in use. I have over 200 blanks that I can “turn’ into a GSR for your use when un-sewing. There are many uses besides removing unwanted stitches.
